About Moule’s

The Moule’s started their first glass shop in 1949 in Grass Valley, California. Grandpa William Moule Sr., along with his wife Marge and their first three children, purchased the shop after his return from WWII as a P.O.W.  Bill & Marge eventually had 12 children, nine boys and three girls. All of the men grew up working in the glass industry, and today, many of them own and operate their own glass shop. Moule’s currently operate eight shops: Moule’s Paint & Glass in Grass Valley, Moule’s California Glass in Redding, Moule’s Tehama County Glass in Red Bluff, Moule’s Foothill Glass in Auburn, Moule’s Elk Grove Glass in Elk Grove, Moule’s Truckee River Glass in Truckee, Moule’s Lake-Vue Glass in Orangevale and Moule’s Paint & Supplies in Shingle Springs.

Bill Moule Jr. is the oldest of the Moule children and three of his children each own their own glass companies. Oldest daughter, Laura Ware is CEO of the Redding store and one of her three children, Michelle, also work in the family owned shops.
